Our home visit is designed to identify and properly assess risk areas within the home. When you speak with one of our specialists we will go over our process and ask a few questions to localize the potential need. During your call with us, we will schedule a time for the home visit and provide you with a checklist of what we will cover in our assessment, as well as a schedule of our process should you decide to move forward.
Upon completing our in-home assessment, we will provide you with a proposal fully outlining the findings of our home assessment and go over the cost of the suggested equipment and/or improvements*. If your home requires home modifications or specialized equipment, we will go over the suggested improvements and provide an outline of the Design and Install process. Once our proposal is accepted we will move your project to the Design Stage.
*Standard equipment or installations such as grab bars, straight stairlifts, ramps less than 10’ in length and other minor modifications may not require the design phase of our process.
In this stage we will provide you with a detailed outline of the work to be completed, along with product descriptions and plans (plans and drawings are for home modifications and specialized equipment only). Once we have acceptance of our design, we will schedule a project timeline along with a proposed start date.
Finally — Upon project completion your NAC representative will provide you with any product operating instructions and care, and discuss any product warranties.
First and foremost, we promise to serve people with the utmost respect regardless of their situation.
NAC was founded after one of our own parents became disabled and we experienced the lack of accessibility solution professionals. We have helped transform the homes of hundreds of people to allow for continued high-quality of life for many different disability situations.
Our business starts by listening to your story.
